Contractually has an opportunity for a talented QA engineer. We’re a small, agile, company based in the Gastown area of Vancouver, BC. Our team believes in results over micromanagement, and we care deeply about doing what is right for the customer.

Responsibilities

• Work with product management, UX and development to write business-driven feature scenarios

• Take responsibility for Contractually's existing automated test suite

• Define best-practices approaches to automated and manual testing and ensure they are followed

• Test all outgoing development changes using a combination of manual and automated testing

• Author and automate test cases for new and pre-existing product functionality.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field

• At least two years of QA experience
  

• Advanced knowledge of testing methodologies and writing test plans
  
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills

• Working knowledge of Ruby or similar scripting language
  

• Proven track record of delivering high quality solutions in a SaaS environment

• A detail-oriented mindset

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience writing test plans for multi-user workflow and collaboration scenarios
  

• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests using Selenium and Cucumber
• Experience with TDD approaches
