Who We're Looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to be a part of building the future of RF-SMART products focused on shipping across web and server components while working with a great team. The ideal person will have a strong passion for manual software testing and be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Jacksonville, FL, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse, innovative team.

What You'll Do:

  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases based on product requirements and specifications 
  • Requirements Analysis: Review and analyze system specifications and user stories to understand testing requirements and create comprehensive test strategies 
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects. Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes 
  • Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test documentation including test cases, test data and test results 
  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure the new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality  
  • Collaboration: Work closely with an awesome team of developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the issues are resolved promptly and that releases meet quality standards 
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, practices and tools

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in manual software testing 
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies 
  • Knowledge or experience in the shipping, supply chain, warehouse industries is a plus 
  • Knowledge of AWS infrastructure is a plus 

 Key Skills for Success:

  • Proficiency in creating detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test cases and test strategies 
  • Ability to think critically and analytically with strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide practical solutions 
  • Experience working in Agile 
  • Experience in testing web applications 
  • Familiarity with database testing
