About the Role

We’re looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our clinical research team. In this role, you’ll provide expert nutritional assessments, interventions, and education to study participants while supporting the scientific quality of our trials. You’ll collaborate with investigators, coordinators, and cross-functional teams to ensure nutrition requirements are met with accuracy and care.

This is a 100% remote, phone-based role — you can be based anywhere in the USA, with all nutrition assessments, counseling, and education delivered by phone and no in-person site visits required. As a PRN position, hours are as-needed and vary based on study demand, offering flexible, independent scheduling for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver nutrition-related assessments, counseling, and interventions in alignment with study protocols.
  • Conduct dietary intake assessments, anthropometric measurements, and other nutrition evaluations as needed.
  • Provide participants with clear, protocol-approved education and guidance.
  • Monitor participant progress, safety, and compliance, reporting findings to investigators and study staff.
  • Partner with coordinators and investigators to integrate nutrition components into study visits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in source records, CRFs, and clinical trial systems (CTMS/EDC).
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH, SOPs, and study protocols.
  • Contribute to protocol training for site staff and support audits or monitoring visits.
  • Stay current with evidence-based nutrition guidelines and clinical research best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Current, active dietitian licensure or certification in your state of residence, where required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • Strong phone-based communication skills and comfort building rapport with participants remotely.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a remote, as-needed capacity.
  • Prior clinical or clinical research experience is a plus, but not required.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Are passionate about using your nutrition expertise to make a real impact on patient care and clinical research.
  • Enjoy building meaningful connections with participants while guiding them through nutrition assessments, counseling, and education.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with investigators, coordinators, and research teams to ensure studies run smoothly.
  • Take pride in attention to detail, ensuring every nutrition-related protocol requirement is met with accuracy and care.
  • Want to contribute to research that advances medicine and improves health outcomes for diverse populations.
