Restaurant Marketing Manager
As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring NYC-based restaurants on the Yelp Reservations and Yelp Nowait platforms. You will develop and execute a marketing plan that builds brand awareness amongst our target audience and generates leads for our NYC based sales team. This role is based in Yelp’s Manhattan office and reports to our Head of Marketing, based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a marketing strategy to acquire top-tier restaurants in the NYC metro area, in close partnership with Sales.
- Drive end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including concept, planning, execution and results analysis.
- Develop compelling collateral, case studies and testimonials (written and video) for use by the sales team and in marketing tactics.
- Plan and execute monthly events for top-tier prospects. Develop event concept, partner with sales to manage invites, execute all event details and work with Sales Manager to ensure Account Executives convert event attendees into new customers.
- Analyze campaign performance and capture key learnings in order to constantly improve
- Develop creative new ideas to reach restaurant owners in unique and effective ways.
Required Skills:
- 4-6 years experience with a strong preference for B2B/SMB marketing
- Outstanding communication, presentation and project management skills
- Excellent analytical skills, comfortable manipulating data in Excel/Google sheets
- Ability to learn quickly, manage time effectively, and apply new tools and creative techniques to challenges
- Enjoy interacting directly with current customers and prospects
- Passion for and understanding of NYC’s restaurant industry
- Bachelor’s degree required
