The Sales Compensation Administrator plays a supporting role in the successful delivery of the incentive compensation program for the Global Sales department. The position works alongside other members of the Sales Operations organization to address commission changes and requests. They will act as the front-line for our employees to provide commission support.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the global sales organization with commission management reporting
- Acts as first responder for all internal commission maintenance requests for manual adjustments, payment questions and administrative updates
- Provides triage of commission- oriented questions through the Sales Operations Jira Ticket management
- Validates and compiles commission data in preparation for payroll processing
- Provide analytical support to other sales compensation projects and initiatives
- Perform monthly audits of commission program to ensure accuracy of incentive application and payments
- Programs new employees and adjustments in compensation management tool and systems for proper administration
Requirements:
- 4 years / Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a compensation administrator (preferred)
- 1-3 years in a Sales Operations/Analyst or Finance Role handling confidential salary and/or financial data (required)
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (preferred)
- Xactly or similar compensation management tool (preferred)
- Basic Salesforce.com experience
- Experience working in a subscription-based business a plus
- High aptitude and ability for data understanding and analysis
- Comfort with technology and ability to perform basic functions within Compensation Management software
- Ability to work in confidential highly secure data
- Excellent verbal and written customer service skills
