Sales Compensation Analyst
TLDR
Design, implement, and optimize sales compensation programs within Revenue Operations, collaborating with Sales, Finance, and HR to align incentives and reward performance.
Sales Compensation
- Take ownership of sales compensation calculations, including validation and analysis.
- Develop, administer, and maintain sales compensation plans and incentive programs aligned with business goals.
- Analyze sales performance data and compensation metrics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate compensation trends and insights to management.
- Support the annual sales compensation planning process, including quota setting and quota attainment analysis.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and HR teams to gather requirements and update compensation structures.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation.
- Conduct regular audits of sales compensation data to ensure accuracy and detect discrepancies.
- Manage and maintain the Incentive Management System (IMS) to support efficient processing of sales incentives.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales compensation, data analysis, process improvement, or revenue operations roles.
- Proficiency in commissions tools (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Perfomio, Varicent etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience in Sales Operations or a similar function in a technology-driven organization.

Familiarity with commissions plans, MBO, sales incentives/spiffs/competitions.
- Proven track record of driving process changes that improve business outcomes.
