Mirantis

Sales Development Manager, North America

TLDR

Own the SDR pipeline target, coach reps on calls and emails, and set lead handoff standards with Sales and Marketing.

Mirantis is looking for a Sales Development Manager to run our North America SDR team. Your team’s job is to turn target accounts and inbound interest into qualified pipeline for our sales reps. You will own that number.

You will hire, coach, and develop SDRs, tighten how we prospect and hand off leads, and agree on targets with Sales and Marketing leaders. This is a hands-on management role for someone who likes working in the details of the team’s calls, emails, and data.

What you will do

  • Own the North America SDR pipeline target, inbound and outbound, and report progress to leadership every week

  • Hire, onboard, and ramp SDRs across multiple locations

  • Run weekly one-on-ones and review calls and emails to coach on messaging, objection handling, and prospecting

  • Set lead handoff rules and follow-up standards with Sales and Marketing, including what counts as a qualified opportunity

  • Build SDR incentives, career paths, and promotion criteria that give strong reps a reason to stay

  • Own SDR enablement, including training, playbooks, and tooling

  • 2+ years of SDR experience and experience leading a sales development team in tech

  • A record of meeting or beating quota, as a rep and as a manager

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, Orum, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo

  • Experience coaching reps directly and holding them accountable for activity and results

  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams

  • Comfort making decisions from pipeline, conversion, and activity data

  • Working knowledge of sales methodologies and SDR compensation design

How we will measure success

In your first year, you will be measured on:

  • Qualified Pipeline

  • Completed meeting to opportunity

  • Sales accepted leads

  • Sales qualified leads
