Sales Engineer

TLDR

Provide technical pre-sales expertise in endpoint management and security to design and present solutions across the software sales cycle.

BPOD Latam is seeking an Sales Engineer to be based in Mexico. 


Mission


The Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise and pre-sales support throughout the software sales cycle, with a strong focus on Endpoint Management, Endpoint Security, Active Directory, Identity Management, and Digital Workspace solutions.


This role will partner closely with the sales team, customers, partners, and internal technical teams to design and present solutions that address business and technical needs.

 


Responsibilities



  • Support the sales team during technical discovery, customer meetings, and solution presentations.
  • Identify customer requirements related to endpoint security, identity, infrastructure, and device management.
  • Design and present technical solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and Proof of Value (POVs).
  • Prepare technical documentation, solution proposals, and product specifications.
  • Provide project scoping and technical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
  • Support partners through technical enablement, training sessions, and solution guidance.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity, identity, endpoint management, and digital workspace trends.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Strong experience with enterprise IT infrastructure and endpoint management solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and identity management.
  • Experience with Endpoint Management, Unified Endpoint Management, or Device Management solutions.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security, patch management, software distribution, and device compliance.
  • Experience working with vendors, wholesalers, partners, system integrators, consulting companies, or enterprise customers.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.
  • Advanced English.
