Sales Manager

TLDR

Drive revenue growth in an assigned division by expanding existing client relationships and pursuing new business, while guiding a team of recruiters placing entertainment talent.

The Sales Manager is responsible for growing revenue in their assigned division, including expanding business with existing customers and initiating business with new customers.  Sales Managers will source and manage a team of Talent Recruiters who consult and place entertainment talent for client company projects.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an monthly sales plan to achieve quota and new customer goals
  • Sell as an individual contributor and as a team player. Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and work effectively as a sales team member; promote camaraderie, share best practices, provide assistance, be a positive influence.
  • Interact with people in all departments in a manner that helps create a dynamic and cohesive culture.
  • Continually improve; stay current with industry trends, help refine sales and service processes, develop and learn new sales skills, and work to increase personal productivity.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of projects, auditions, talent and client companies
  • Proactively participate in meetings with a positive attitude and a mindset towards sales process improvement.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Source and assist new hire recruiters in on-boarding process
  • On a monthly basis, spend an average of 80% having first time conversations with new recruiters
  • Continually identify new prospective customers via requesting referrals and performing online research via industry related websites and sites like LinkedIn
  • Proactively communicate, provide praise or constructive feedback regularly, and continually refine how you work together to maximize sales productivity
  • Serve as point person for customers. Schedule and plan trainings/support in advance, set agendas, and determine recruiter’s goals. 
  • Identify and proactively participate in talent user groups and other associations or industry meetings where talent gather.

• Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff

• Managing budgets

• Maintaining statistical and financial records

• Planning, promoting and marketing the business

• Dealing with customer queries and complaints

• Overseeing pricing and stock control
