Sales Solution Consultant
TLDR
Lead presales engagements in energy trading tech, delivering tailored demonstrations and workshops, defining architectures, and influencing strategic enterprise deals.
This is a remote role based in the US, occasion traveling to other countries and UK Head office is required. Applicants have to be based in the state of Texas.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead presales engagement on strategic opportunities, partnering closely with Sales to shape deal strategy and
positioning
• Drive and facilitate client discovery sessions, translating business challenges into tailored solution approaches
• Own and deliver high-quality product demonstrations and workshops, aligned to client-specific workflows and
value drivers
• Define solution architectures and integration approaches, working with Product and Engineering teams where
required
• Lead or significantly contribute to RFP/RFI responses, ensuring high-quality, differentiated submissions
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, engaging with both business and technical stakeholders, including senior
decision-makers
• Provide market and client feedback to Product and leadership teams to support ongoing product evolution
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who combine strong domain expertise, technical understanding, and commercial acumen.
Required
• Proven experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, or Energy Trading Technology
• Strong understanding of energy markets, commodity trading, or risk management systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise software sales cycles and influence deal outcomes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
• Solid understanding of data structures and databases, including working knowledge of SQL
Preferred
• Experience with ETRM / CTRM or credit risk platforms
• Knowledge of counterparty risk, exposure management, or compliance workflows
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Microsoft Power BI

• Consistently deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations and workshops that directly influence deal outcomes
• Act as a key contributor to winning new business, supporting the conversion of pipeline into signed deals

• Contribute to refining presales best practices, messaging, and solution positioning within the organisation
