Security / EMR Officer
TLDR
On-site security and EMR role at a mine site, delivering daily inspections, emergency medical response, and screening entrants to uphold safety.
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily inspections of mine site
- Primary emergency medical response on site to incidents & emergencies
- Signing in/out and screening of employees, visitors, suppliers and their belongings arriving and departing the mine site
- Vehicle inspections of any vehicle entering the mine site
- Perform Fit for Work test as required
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Requires a valid Class G license
- Recommended - Advanced First Aid/ EMR and CPR/AED
- Clean Criminal Record Check
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Maintain positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment
- Maintain effective communication
- Always maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain 100% compliance with federal, provincial or site-specific safety and prehospital care standards.
Schedule
- 14 days on / 14 days off
- 12 Hour shifts
- Rotational (Days / Nights)

Utilizing the longhole open stoping technique, the project focuses on extracting high-grade vein-style deposits and is supported by an efficient on-site processing plant capable of producing a substantial gold concentrate annually.
