Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary/Overview: The Operations Quality Manager position is responsible for leading the MQR team to contain and assist in timely disposition of material impacted by excursions/inline abnormal processing and ensure thorough risk assessment and communication with all required stakeholders for safe disposition. As well, define business process that aid in excursion management, clear communication and escape prevention:
• Outgoing Quality Assurance: conduct final wafer inspections before shipment, escalate new/trending issues to fab and support inspection to meet outgoing quality demands. Ensure customer compliance is met for final defect inspection, ability to communicate any irregularities.
• Ensure profit margins by reducing inefficiencies and operations errors by proactively improving capability and capacity of operations through new methods, tools or skills.
• Contain and assist in disposition for abnormally processed, customer impacting large scale events within the factory. Cross site collaboration to find clear root cause understanding and transparent communication with S1 as needed.
• Utilize quality skills to help identify true root cause and help place well thought out countermeasure for issue recurrence.
Specific Job Duties: Lead deployment of large-scale projects that are cross-functional in nature and have visibility to company executives.
Use resources and data to identify risks to fab operations and customers.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, support group counterparts, and executives to support on-time delivery while minimizing impact to customer.
Problem solve complex situations and navigate the political landscape to accomplish results.
Analyze risk and make recommendations to help improve quality performance for each department’s business processes and programs.
Present the systems quality risk key messages, strategy, and execution progress to top company leadership on a weekly or monthly basis.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required: B.S. in Engineering or related Sciences (Math, Chemistry, Physics).
Minimum 10 years’ experience in semiconductor high volume manufacturing.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with HVM Foundry Semiconductor or Automotive manufacturing quality.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position with direct reports.
Experience driving company-wide quality improvement initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools: Expert knowledge of 14nm-65nm LSI Fab processes.
Experience in HVM Semiconductor processing with >50 products mix running at a given time.
