Senior Accountant
TLDR
Own full-cycle accounting, closings, treasury operations, audits, and grant documentation across multiple group entities.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Pontinia (Latina), and take ownership of the accounting and day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities in Italy.- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Manage the full accounting cycle for several group entities in Italy
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax requirements
Prepare, review, and execute supplier payments and bank transactions ensuring proper traceability
Maintain relationships with banks and payment platforms
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
Support internal and external audits
Coordinate with external advisors (tax, audit, legal)
Ensure the preparation of all required documentation for grants application and compliance.
Your talent and knowledge
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in multi-entity environments
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (local GAAP; IFRS is a plus)
- Experience with treasury operations and payment processes
Familiarity with ERP systems, experience with Netsuite is an advantage
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and autonomy
Fluent in Italian and English
