Your Impact

As a senior engineer on the team, you will be intimately involved in architecture decisions that shape this product. You live and breathe cloud services that require high availability and fast, consistent performance.

You operate in an AI-first engineering environment, where you leverage advanced AI systems to inform design decisions, accelerate development, and improve system reliability. You are expected to drive adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices across teams, ensuring scalable and efficient development workflows.

You will work closely with product managers and designers to ensure we are building the right solution for our customers, while also mentoring engineers on both system design and AI-first development practices.

What You’ll Do

Work Location: This role is based out of our Ho Chi Minh City office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Reports to: (Senior) Software Engineering Manager

  • Lead engineering architecture design reviews across multiple squads and teams, incorporating AI-driven insights and system modeling
  • Set a high technical bar through code and architecture reviews across the group, including evaluation of AI-generated code and design patterns
  • Mentor junior to senior engineers on scalable system design, technical strategy, and AI-first development practices
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across multiple squads, establishing group-level standards and prompt engineering guidelines
  • Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to translate broad business and technical goals into engineering strategy and execution plans
  • Improve engineering processes across the organization by embedding automation, AI tooling, and intelligent workflows into planning and execution
  • Architect and build services that adhere to high standards on availability and latency for broad domain capabilities in a mission-critical environment
  • Leverage AI systems to optimize performance, observability, and operational efficiency across multi-team distributed systems

What You Bring

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of executing broad technical initiatives
  • Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems and platform components or foundational services that support multiple teams and products
  • Backend service experience in multiple managed languages such as Go, Java, Scala, C#, or similar
  • Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores and designing scalable data architectures
  • Experience building and operating public cloud-hosted services on Azure or AWS using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Strong understanding of platform security concerns: identity, access control, data encryption, and secure service-to-service communication
  • Experience driving SLOs, SLAs, operational excellence, and an incident response culture across multi-team engineering organizations
  • Experience evaluating, integrating, and establishing organizational standards for AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows
  • Strong understanding of how AI can be applied to improve developer productivity, system design, and operational efficiency at a multi-squad level

  • Cloud Prividers : AWS (ECS, EKS), Azure DevOps, Goolge Cloud Build
  • Security Best Practices : DevSecOps tools, vulnerability scanning
