Senior Business Analyst - Broker Dealer

As a Senior Specialist Business Analyst reporting to Product Manager (Broker Dealer), you’ll play a critical role in translating complex regulatory requirements into clear functional specifications, shaping product improvements, and supporting clients with domain expertise. The role requires strong analytical depth, hands-on involvement, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze global broker‑dealer regulatory changes, interpret regulatory texts, and translate them into structured functional requirements.
Create high‑quality functional specifications, including data models, field‑level definitions, reporting logic, validations, and exception handling.
Collaborate closely with Development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and support QA in defining test scenarios and validating delivered functionality.
Identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases in regulations, proposing clear and practical solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert in regulatory reporting, participate in backlog/sprint activities, and support client queries and issue resolution with a structured, solution‑oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience in a RegTech environment or financial services technology.
Strong understanding of broker‑dealer regulatory reporting frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to break down complex regulatory concepts into structured logic.
Clear and effective communicator with experience working in collaborative, matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA). Experience in capital markets, FinTech, or other highly regulated industries.
Comfortable collaborating with global teams and navigating cross‑border cultural nuances.
This position will be located in Wroclaw and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The annual gross base pay for this role is zł146,000 - zł285,000. At Nasdaq, we use a structured job and career framework to make sure growth opportunities are clear and fair. The pay range you see reflects the full salary band for this job level, including room for progression over time. The actual offer will depend on factors like your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will fall within a portion of the posted range that’s appropriate for this role.
