Senior Business Technology Manager

The Senior Manager, Business Technology is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient operation of our internal IT infrastructure. This role includes managing the security, connectivity, and overall IT needs for both on-site and remote employees, as well as aligning IT strategies with our company's objectives. This role will play a key role in supporting our cloud-based product from an internal perspective, ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient IT environment.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up all IT support systems; evaluating of current technology stack across the business and advising streamlining where appropriate, including re-negotiating user contracts
Managing day to day IT support, including working internally with team members, and externally with both vendors and consultants on project implementations
Supporting with onboarding and offboarding
Successful integration of legacy tools into new tools; migration of data from Microsoft to Google
Integration of multiple domain names, under one central domain name
Developing and implementing comprehensive IT strategies that align with the overall objectives
Managing and overseeing the IT Support function, ensuring appropriate internal security practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
Ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient IT support for both on-site and remote employees.
Overseeing the administration and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
Collaborating with various departments to assess and address their IT needs, ensuring optimal support across the organization.
Managing IT budgets, vendor contracts, and service agreements, ensuring cost-effective solutions, in relation to SOC2 compliance goals
Developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Staying abreast of emerging IT trends and technologies, and incorporating them into the IT strategy as appropriate.
Providing leadership in IT-related projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution

What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited University
5+ Years experience in a SaaS company, leading IT support and business technology
Prior experience using Salesforce CRM, Miro, AWS
Advanced level of coding is a must (SQL is a plus) - must be comfortable working with large datasets
Advanced expertise in AI usage, including implementation of Claude; ChatGPT
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze complex problems and provide simple solutions
Organized and able to manage a large volume of tasks independently
Ability to manage projects from concept through implementation
Strong familiarity with EdTech space, ideally with ECE knowledge
Advanced experience with Notion, Google and Slack
Prior experience taking a company to achieve SOC2 type 1 and 2 compliance is required
You have experience working cross-boarder, with both US and Canadian teams
What You Bring to the Table:
The compensation range for this role is between $85,000 - $95,000 USD per year; evaluation of the offer for the successful candidate will be based on relevant experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in IT Support or related field
This role would be eligible to participate in the Employee Stock Option Plan
