Senior Consultant – AI-Driven Operations Agent Pilot

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced hands-on consultant to lead an initial pilot introducing an AI-driven operations/SRE agent to help automate incident detection, investigation, and response for a business-critical enterprise application. 

You will work largely independently, embedded alongside product teams, guiding them through the adoption of a new operational capability. The solution is expected to be offered as a reusable, self-service capability. 

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role, requiring someone comfortable driving a technical initiative from first principles to a working solution with limited support. 
 

Required Skills

1. Cloud platform expertise (Azure preferred) 

1. Solid understanding of support and incident management processes – service desk workflows, ticketing, escalation paths, and on-call rotations (this is considered a baseline requirement) 

1. Experience with observability tooling (e.g., Datadog, Application Insights, cloud-native logging) 

1. Solid understanding how software gets built and shipped  

1. Prior experience integrating disparate systems – e.g., combining logs, pipeline data, and source code into a unified, usable capability 

1. Hands-on experience with AI/LLM technology – LLM integration, agent frameworks, tool orchestration, or similar (side projects count) 

1. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) 

1. Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration 

1. Exposure to enterprise IT service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent) 

1. Background in API-first or event-driven architectures, microservices, or OpenTelemetry 

1. Experience driving standards across multiple product teams 

1. Proven stakeholder management, consulting and coaching skills
