About The Position

iRESTORE is seeking a sharp, impact-driven Data Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to our Growth organization and help shape the company’s most important growth decisions. We’re looking for someone who can turn complex, raw datasets into clear recommendations across revenue, contribution margin, acquisition efficiency, pricing, refunds, forecasting, and experimentation. The right candidate is commercially minded, confident working in SQL, and comfortable connecting marketing performance to CAC, LTV, payback periods, and profitable growth. This role works directly with the Head of Data and VP of Growth, challenges assumptions, and brings a strong point of view to decisions that influence millions of dollars in marketing investment.

This is a fully remote independent contractor opportunity with flexibility to manage working hours and location. Success will be measured by the quality and timeliness of the work, with availability expected for agreed collaboration windows, key meetings, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and contribution margin performance across channels and geographies, including performance against forecast and plan.
  • Identify and quantify the drivers behind revenue and contribution margin changes, including CAC, refunds, discount depth, channel mix, and demand shifts.
  • Partner with Paid Media and Growth teams to evaluate true channel economics using refund-adjusted CAC, contribution margin, LTV, cohort retention, and payback periods.
  • Recommend when to scale, rebalance, or reduce channel investment based on unit economics and expected financial impact.
  • Build and maintain cohort-based refund curves, retention analyses, and payback models.
  • Distinguish structural changes in customer behavior from timing or reporting effects, and quantify the impact of pricing, policy, promotional, and operational changes.
  • Rapidly diagnose performance changes, model business trade-offs, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Support 30-, 60-, and 90-day revenue forecasts and scenario models for promotions, pricing experiments, seasonal shifts, and changes in marketing investment.
  • Build monitoring frameworks that surface demand shifts, anomalies, and emerging risks before they materially affect performance.
  • Develop simple, executive-ready dashboards focused on revenue versus plan, contribution margin, channel efficiency, refunds, and payback.
  • Present clear findings and recommendations to the Head of Data, VP of Growth, and cross-functional leaders to support budget allocation and other growth decisions.
  • Partner with the Data Engineer to strengthen data models, reporting accuracy, documentation, and analytics workflows.
  • Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate SQL development, data modeling, analysis, documentation, and repeatable reporting.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, cohort analysis, and data modeling.
  • Experience working in Google BigQuery or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
  • Experience building clear, executive-ready dashboards in Looker Studio or a similar BI platform.
  • Strong understanding of DTC and e-commerce unit economics, including contribution margin, CAC, LTV, refunds, retention, and payback periods.
  • Experience analyzing performance marketing data across platforms such as Meta, Google Ads, and Shopify.
  • Strong forecasting, scenario modeling, and financial analysis skills.
  • A hypothesis-driven approach with the ability to isolate performance drivers, quantify impact, and make clear recommendations.
  • Strong business judgment and comfort evaluating trade-offs across growth, profitability, and customer behavior.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, cloud-based coding agents, or similar platforms within analytics workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently through ambiguous business questions.
  • Proactive and decisive, with a track record of identifying risks and opportunities before being asked.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.

Our Core Values and what we built our culture around:
