Senior Database Administrator

The mission of a Database Administrator (DBA) is to ensure the secure, efficient, and reliable management of databases, enabling organizations to effectively store, access, and utilize their data assets while maintaining data integrity and meeting the needs of stakeholders.

-Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure database systems
-Install, configure, monitor, and optimize SQL Server/MySQL databases
-Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning
-Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions
-Ensure database security, access control, and data integrity
-Troubleshoot production issues and maintain high system availability
-Automate database maintenance, monitoring, and deployment tasks
-Support ETL, data migration, and system integration activities
-Collaborate with BI, development, and infrastructure teams
-Maintain database documentation, standards, and operational procedures
-Drive continuous improvement and mentor junior team members

Requirements

-Experience with SQL Server administration and performance tuning
-Experience with HA/DR, replication, and backup/recovery strategies
-Experience with ETL, data migration, and database security best practices
-Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell and Python) is a plus
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent certifications
- 6+ years relevant experience as a DBA or data engineer
-Demonstrated knowledge of AI technologies and hands-on experience leveraging AI tools.
