Neura Robotics

Senior Design Engineer – MiPA (human)

TLDR

Lead mechanical design for a cognitive mobile robot platform, delivering robust production-ready subsystems and coordinating across mechanical, electronics, software, and manufacturing teams.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of MiPA, NEURA Robotics' cognitive mobile robot platform. You will be responsible for the mechanical development of complex robotic subsystems, from concept design to production release, while ensuring high standards in engineering documentation, product structures, and manufacturability.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will help create robots that safely interact with people and operate across industrial, commercial, and everyday environments.

Your mission & challenges

  • Lead mechanical design projects for MiPA and its subsystems

  • Develop robust mechanical architectures and production-ready designs

  • Create and maintain CAD models, technical drawings, product structures, and bills of materials

  • Perform structural, stability, durability, and tolerance analyses

  • Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) throughout the product development process

  • Define and maintain engineering design standards and documentation quality

  • Coordinate development activities across mechanical, electronics, software, manufacturing, and sourcing teams

  • Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and product industrialization

  • Manage engineering changes, revisions, and configuration control processes

  • Contribute to technical decision-making, risk assessments, and design reviews
