SENIOR ENGINEER – DISTRIBUTED STORAGE SYSTEMS (C++)

The Opportunity

We have an outstanding career opportunity for Senior Engineer- Distributed Storage Systems (C++) at Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune locations. You will be responsible for optimizing software performance, scaling distributed systems, and developing innovative solutions to meet customer needs. If you are passionate about distributed systems, file storage, and high-performance computing, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do…

• Design and develop highly scalable software-defined storage solutions.
• Optimize software for high performance and scale in distributed environments.
• Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems and create innovative solutions for customer use cases.
• Enhance performance, scalability, and resiliency in storage software.
• Collaborate closely with development, testing, documentation, and product management teams to ensure high-quality software delivery

Who you are…

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in product development
• Expertise in C or C++ programming, with a strong foundation in low-level system development.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and software development workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of UNIX and Windows OS internals.
• Strong understanding of file systems, such as NTFS, ReFS, FAT, ext2, ext3, NFS, and CIFS.
• Experience working with storage arrays and related technologies.
• Development experience in file systems, operating systems, distributed systems management, or cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with distributed computing principles, including high-performance, fault-tolerant, and clustered systems.
• Experience with C# and React is a plus.
• Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
