Who We Are and Why Join Us

At OnMed our purpose is simple but powerful...to improve the quality of life and sense of well-being in our communities by bringing access to healthcare to everyone, everywhere. Our path to everywhere has already begun, with our innovative CareStation, a small but mighty, Clinic-in-a-Box, bringing #healthcareaccess anywhere with an outlet to plug it in. Poised to become a key component in America’s public health infrastructure, the OnMed CareStation is the only tech-enabled, AI-powered, human-delivered, hybrid care solution that combines the comprehensive experience, trust and outcomes of a clinic,  with the rapid scalability of virtual care.

At OnMed, every role, everyday, is directly impacting the communities we serve. You’ll join a high-performing purpose-driven team, innovating to break down the barriers that keep people from the care they need.

This is not just a job...it's a movement to bring access to healthcare where and when people need it most. It’s healthcare that shows up.

Who You Are

You’re hungry to grow fast alongside a scaling company. You bring high curiosity, sharp critical and systems thinking, and a genuine desire to be part of something transformative — this isn’t a 9-to-5, work-life-balance-first role. You’re AI-forward by default, using AI tools to work faster and smarter, not just comfortable with a calculator and Excel.

The Role

OnMed is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to own weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting and analysis, with added responsibility for expense optimization. This is a hands-on role with direct exposure to how a high-growth company runs — you’ll work closely with both the VP of Finance & Controller and the CEO, not several layers removed from decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting, including budget-to-actual variance analysis
  • Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into financial performance
  • Build and maintain financial models and forecasts to support planning and decision-making
  • Lead expense optimization analysis — track spend, flag variances, and identify opportunities to improve cost discipline across the business
  • Prepare reporting and analysis materials for the Controller and CEO, including board-level materials as needed
  • Use AI tools to accelerate reporting, forecasting, and analysis, and help identify where automation can improve how finance operates
  • Apply critical thinking and a systems thinking mindset — connecting financial performance to what’s happening operationally across the business
  • Take on ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as the business scales, often with ambiguous scope and tight timelines
  • Perform other related role’s responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Prior/current private equity or investment management company or adjacent experience
  • Prior work experience using AI tools for analysis, reporting, or workflow automation
  • Strong Excel/financial modeling skills; comfortable building models and dashboards from scratch, not just maintaining templates
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards or reporting automation that leadership actually uses
  • Comfortable prompting and iterating with AI tools to run reports, build models, and speed up analysis — not just using AI as a search engine
  • Sharp critical thinking and a systems thinking mindset; connects financial data to what’s happening across the business
  • High curiosity and a hunger to learn fast and take on more
  • Clear, direct communicator; comfortable presenting analysis to executives and translating complexity into simple takeaways
  • Bias toward ownership and speed; comfortable in a high-growth environment without fully built-out processes

Education & Experience

  • 2–3 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • Prior experience in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Experience with expense management or cost optimization initiatives

Reporting Structure

This role reports to the VP of Finance & Controller.
