Senior Financial Strategy Analyst
TLDR
Own end-to-end FP&A work in a fast-growing AI-focused financial strategy team, delivering board-ready insights, investment cases, and scalable reporting to guide strategic decisions.
ComplyAdvantage provides an AI platform that helps thousands of businesses worldwide detect and prevent money laundering, payment fraud, and other financial crimes - stopping criminal funds from moving through the financial system.
Our Financial Strategy team sits at the centre of how the business plans, invests, and grows, working directly with the CFO and Board. We're looking for a technically strong senior analyst to take ownership of key workstreams within it.
What you will be doing
You'll own significant workstreams within the Financial Strategy team - driving analysis and turning it into clear insights for senior stakeholders. Day to day, your role includes:
- Leading monthly reporting and variance analysis, and shaping the narrative for senior stakeholders.
- Helping to drive the annual business plan and regular forecasts.
- Driving strategic analysis that helps the business hit its targets - including working with stakeholders to build investment cases and understand cost drivers.
- Preparing Board presentations and KPI packs.
- Financial modelling and cash flow analysis.
- Leading improvements to the processes and tools we use, raising the quality and scalability of our reporting and analysis.
- Helping the team adopt AI - with dedicated time to develop your own skills and shape how we apply AI across our work.
What we're looking for
You're a smart, motivated finance professional who takes pride in your work.
- Technically strong. Advanced modelling, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills - able to design models that others depend on, with high proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation tools.
- Experience. Four or more years in FP&A or Financial Strategy, with a track record of owning workstreams end-to-end.
- Ownership. You take analysis from question to recommendation independently, and you're comfortable being accountable for it.
- Financial statements. Strong working knowledge of the three financial statements and accounting methodology.
- Data fluency. Confident in extracting and combining data across multiple systems, and improving how that data flows.
- Team player. Collaborative, and able to mentor and raise the bar across a small team.
- Communication. Ability to explain complex topics in a simplified way and lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Education. A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Nice to have
- SaaS or technology background. Desirable, but not essential - or a track record of thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- AI adoption. You've started applying AI to finance or analytical work, and you're keen to help the team do the same.
- Qualification. Qualified/Finalist (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
What we offer
- On-going investment into AI tooling for Finance, with space to explore and shape how the team uses it.
- Unlimited Time Off Policy to promote work-life balance and well-being.
- Equity participation in our innovative mission to combat financial crime.
- We embrace a hybrid working approach. We strongly believe that this approach fosters collaboration and enables the building of meaningful relationships.
- Opportunities for collaboration and career development with smart, like-minded professionals.
- Annual learning budget to support professional growth.
- A home office budget to support working from home.
- Enhanced parental leave and childcare benefits.
- Life insurance and medical coverage through BUPA, including pre-existing conditions.
- Pension contribution through The People's Pension.
