Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Malaysia)

• Develop and enhance user-centric web-based cybersecurity software products with modern frontend technologies.
• Design and implement UX for amazing user experience.
• Design and implement scalable and responsive UI components.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and accessibility.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Troubleshoot UI/UX issues and refactor code for better maintainability.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to define, design and ship new features.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advocate best practices in frontend development.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on frontend technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Between three (minimum) to seven years of professional experience in frontend software development.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js + Vite, and JavaScript libraries such as Grid.JS.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with state management libraries (Pinia) and component-based architecture.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Knowledge of frontend build tools and module bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with UX design software such as Figma or similar tool.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in cybersecurity and sinatra is a plus.
• Must be a Malaysian citizen or Malaysian Permanent Resident.
