About The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Interaction Designer who is part designer, part design researcher, and part prototyper. You must be able to explore, conceptualize, and communicate new experiences that have never been conceived or even possible . We are looking for experiences spanning across hardware, software and the environment. Design is at the heart of what we’re doing, creating societal robots for point to point mobility which will deeply impact urban dynamics.

What You'll Do:

• Work with product managers and other designers to understand and define the problem space.
• Research areas that will help inform and guide designs.
• Understand behaviors, needs, context of users as well as human factors, and people’s mental and psychological qualities to build experiences.
• Conceptualize new interactions and experiences.
• Bring early concepts to life through moodboards, storyboarding, brainstorming, user scenarios and concept sketches.
• Prototype and test your hypotheses and designs.
• Communicate your ideas clearly.
• Push the boundaries of current technology to create new possibilities.
• Collaborate with engineers to bring your designs to life.
• Translate designs into engineering and business requirement.

What You'll Need:

• Be able to see the big picture, but pay attention to fine details.
• Be highly ambitious, self-­directed, and organized.
• 6+ years of industry experience; expertise in human factors, human­computer interaction, human­robot interaction, or ergonomics.
• Have reference projects demonstrating systems thinking across a variety of formats such as voice, audio, touch, gesture interactions, websites, apps, interactive spaces, etc...
• Have experience designing and shipping consumer products.
• Have experience with design/prototyping software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Keynote, InVision, Balsamiq, etc.
