Senior Internal Auditor (Projects)
TLDR
Lead audits of large international EPC projects, assessing governance, controls, cost, schedule, and contract management to improve delivery outcomes.
- Lead and execute audits of large international EPC projects, reviewing governance, project controls, cost, schedule, and contract management.
- Assess project execution risks, identify root causes of delays or overruns, and recommend practical improvements.
- Partner with project leadership to strengthen decision-making, reduce delivery risk, and improve project outcomes.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, including Project Directors and Construction Managers, presenting clear business-focused insights.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven auditing and enhancement of governance and internal control frameworks.
- Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; PMP certification is an advantage.
- 7–15 years of experience in EPC or large industrial projects, with expertise in project governance, cost/schedule control, contracts, risk, claims, or construction management.
- Strong understanding of the EPC project lifecycle, CAPEX governance, project controls, and tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to challenge senior leaders constructively.
- High integrity, business acumen, and a hands-on, improvement-driven mindset; comfortable working independently in international, matrix organizations and willing to travel up to 30%.

Compensation
Basic wage component (gross): 3300 EUR/month
