About The Role

We are looking for a Senior or Lead Fullstack Engineer to own end-to-end product engineering across PHP-based backend systems and modern JavaScript frontends. You will work embedded in product teams serving European clients across e-commerce and B2B SaaS - collaborating directly with client engineers, product owners, and stakeholders. This is a hands-on role with real leadership scope: you will drive technical direction, shape architecture decisions, and raise the engineering standard across the team.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and optimize high-performance backend services and RESTful / GraphQL APIs using PHP (Laravel or Symfony).

Build and maintain scalable, reusable frontend components using Vue.js or React, ensuring high responsiveness and seamless user experiences.

Architect end-to-end technical solutions covering both server-side and client-side layers, including microservices design, with a clear focus on scalability, security, and long-term maintainability.

Work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data modeling, indexing, and query performance.

Implement state management patterns (Vuex / Pinia for Vue.js, Redux / Zustand for React) and apply frontend performance optimization strategies.

Lead code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and grow the technical capability of junior and mid-level engineers on the team.

Identify and address technical debt proactively - propose and drive architectural improvements across the codebase.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.

Implement caching, logging, monitoring, and security best practices including OWASP Top 10 compliance.

What You Will Bring

7+ years of experience in fullstack development, with strong hands-on depth in PHP (Laravel or Symfony) on the backend and Vue.js or React on the frontend.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including modern ES6+ patterns and component-based architecture.

Professional English proficiency - you are comfortable leading technical discussions, writing documentation, and communicating directly with international clients in English.

Solid understanding of database architecture, query optimization, and data modeling across relational and NoSQL systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including microservices architecture.

Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment workflows.

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills across the full stack.

Demonstrated ability to lead technical decisions, drive architectural discussions, and elevate the engineers around you.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopware, Shopify, or Magento.

Knowledge of server-side rendering or static site generation (Nuxt.js, Next.js).

Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.

Familiarity with asynchronous processing and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Working time: Monday - Friday (9 AM - 6 PM)

Remote Work: Candidates based in Hanoi or Can Tho are welcome to work remotely.
