We are currently seeking for our Headquarter in Hamburg a highly motivated and dedicated
Senior Manager Accounting Processes (all genders)
Full-time and permanent
Additional locations: Toulouse or Verona
Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate internal projects that impact accounting processes, including system implementations, reorganizations, and policy changes
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation in accounting workflows
Systematically evaluate new tools, automation opportunities, and digital solutions to improve process quality and reduce costs
Define and standardize end‑to‑end accounting processes across all group entities
Strengthen internal controls across all accounting processes
Develop and maintain standardized documentation for accounting
Ensure alignment with corporate accounting policies and IFRS/GAAP requirements
Partner with IT, Controlling, Tax, Procurement, and other functions to ensure seamless integration of accounting requirements
Collaborate with Internal Audit, SOX team, and external auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions
Required qualifications:
Successful university degree (or equivalent) in business administration, advanced studies in international accounting, accounting or auditing
8+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in a multinational or listed environment
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements
Proven track record in process optimization, transformation projects, and cross‑functional collaboration
Experience with ERP systems and digital tools for automation and workflow management
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills
International, intercultural open mindset
Analytical mindset with a strong drive for quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Fluent in written and spoken English
Further ideal qualifications:
Experience in an Audit firm would be a plus
Excellent knowledge of IFS or SAP
