Senior Manager, Marketing Operations
TLDR
Own the architecture of the marketing operations tech stack and drive end-to-end GTM tooling with rapid, hands-on builds.
About Flosum
Flosum is a Salesforce-native DevOps, security, and data resilience platform built for enterprise teams. We help Fortune 100 and Fortune 1000 organizations — including Cargill, Hilton, Dell, GE HealthCare, and Deutsche Bank — automate releases, strengthen governance, and deploy on Salesforce with confidence at scale. Our platform brings DevOps, backup and archive, and security orchestration together in one purpose-built solution, and we're extending that same rigor into AI-powered automation for the Salesforce ecosystem.
We're a fast-moving, detail-driven company, and we hold our internal systems to the same standard we sell to our customers: clean, well-architected, and built to scale without babysitting.
The Role
We're looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations to be the technical backbone of our go-to-market engine — the person who knows exactly how every system connects, why it's built that way, and how to fix it in minutes when something breaks. This is not a maintenance role. It's a build-and-own role, and it reports directly to our Sr. Director of Revenue Operations.
This role is built for someone who wants real ownership. You'll take an idea, a priority, or a single sentence of direction and run with it — scoping the approach, building the solution, and delivering a finished result, not a status update. If you're the kind of person who gets restless waiting for the next check-in and would rather just go build the thing, this role is designed around exactly that instinct.
What You'll Do
- Own the architecture of our marketing operations tech stack — Salesforce, Marketo, Outreach, Warmly, Qualified, and more — and understand exactly how each piece connects to and depends on the others
- Diagnose and fix issues fast: lead routing breaks, sync failures, campaign errors, data issues — the kind of problems that stall a revenue team if they sit too long
- Take a rough idea or a single line of direction from leadership and turn it into a finished, working result — without needing to check in at every step along the way
- Own the full lead lifecycle: scoring, routing, and the handoff between marketing and sales
- Build and run campaign operations in Marketo, from setup through execution, with reporting the rest of the business can actually trust
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, and other stakeholder teams to align process, data, and systems across the business
- Take new tools and initiatives from zero to fully live — evaluate, build, document, and launch with minimal oversight
- Keep systems clean and well-documented so the stack scales instead of turning into a black box
- Run multiple live projects at once without letting the details slip
- Bring a point of view on what great marketing operations looks like — and put it into practice as the blueprint for how our systems, processes, and team should run
Requirements
Who You Are
- A systems thinker. You instinctively map out how tools connect and depend on each other — and that mental model is exactly what lets you troubleshoot in minutes instead of days
- A true self-starter. Handed a rough idea, you don't come back with questions about step one — you come back with a finished solution
- Unfazed by ambiguity. You bring your own structure and momentum to projects that don't have a defined playbook
- Relentlessly diligent and detail-oriented — nothing slips through the cracks on your watch
- A natural multitasker who can hold several things in motion at once without losing quality
- A sharp, credible communicator who stakeholders across the business trust and want to work with
What You Bring to the Table
- 3–5 years of experience in revenue operations or marketing operations, ideally supporting a B2B go-to-market organization - preferably SaaS
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, along with Marketo or Pardot
- Familiarity with sales engagement and pipeline tools such as Outreach, Warmly, or Qualified is a strong plus
- Comfort with Figma or similar tools is a plus
- A track record of mapping, documenting, or untangling how a marketing tech stack fits together — bonus points if you've built that kind of documentation from scratch
