Senior Product Designer - Flex Hiring

About the role

You will shape trusted, end-to-end hiring experiences across product, operations, and agentic workflows as a Senior Product Designer with strong service and systems design capability. This role is suited to a designer who can work from strategic opportunity through to shipped product, while connecting customer-facing interactions with backstage services, operational workflows, and governance needs.

You will lead the design of end-to-end products and services that help hirers move from hiring intent to successful placement with less effort, more confidence, and clearer outcomes. This includes shaping customer-facing product experiences, backstage service workflows, and the cross-system interactions required to coordinate onboarding, identity, compliance, payments, support, and fulfillment.

You will work across SEEK Flex Hiring experiences to reduce friction, improve activation and repeat usage, and explore new interaction models including conversational and agentic experiences. You will also help shape the trust architecture of these experiences, ensuring they are understandable, governable, and safe in high-stakes hiring contexts through clear decision points, meaningful oversight, and reusable patterns.

Reporting to the Design Lead for Agentic Hiring, you will work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Data Science, Compliance, and adjacent teams across SEEK and Flex Hiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design across frontstage and backstage service journeys connecting hirer, candidate, operational workflows and platform capabilities.
• Lead discovery and evaluative research, problem framing, co-design workshops, prototyping, usability testing and experiment design to resolve activation challenges.
• Plan and scope design initiatives against clear product outcomes defining hypotheses, success measures and experiment plans aligned to key metrics.
• Shape product direction by connecting customer insights, platform capabilities and industry patterns to design cross-platform hirer journeys.
• Communicate product narratives and defend design decisions with compelling storytelling connecting value to business impact and technical feasibility.
• Leverage SEEK's design system (Braid) to ensure consistency, accessibility and speed while proposing new patterns where necessary.
• Design inclusive, localized experiences for APAC audience accounting for language, cultural norms, labor practices and market nuances.
• Stay across emerging technologies including AI and personalization applying them pragmatically to improve speed, relevance and confidence.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 5+ years designing end-to-end digital product experiences (marketplace or SaaS preferred) with a strong portfolio of transactional UX and cross-platform delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with confidence presenting decisions connecting user insights to business goals and technical constraints.
• Expert at service blueprinting or systems mapping including ability to define frontstage and backstage journeys, actors, handoffs and dependencies.
• Expert facilitation skills in design thinking methods and workshop facilitation to drive alignment, ideation and informed decision-making.
• Advanced at leading evaluative research and usability testing, synthesizing insights into clear, actionable recommendations with strong product thinking.
• Demonstrated ability to translate insights into elegant, accessible UI that meets brand standards, drives measurable impact and applies AI within design workflows.
