This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.
AlphaGov is seeking a Senior Project Management Consultant to lead city capital and program-management engagements end to end, from mobilization and work planning through delivery, quality control, and executive-ready closeout.
What you'll do:
- Lead municipal capital and program-management engagements across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality
- Translate city priorities into practical work plans, governance routines, decision logs, and deliverables
- Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, client departments, and community or stakeholder inputs
- Prepare status reporting, issue resolution, and executive briefings for public-agency leadership
- Contribute municipal project-management qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned
Requirements
Required:
- Hands-on project or program management for city, county, or other public-agency capital programs
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, milestones, budgets, risks, and client deliverables end to end
- Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites
Nice to have:
- Capital-improvement-program, infrastructure, facilities, or municipal modernization experience
- PMP, CCM, or comparable project-management credential
- Prior Columbus or Ohio public-agency consulting
