Responsibilities:

1. Automation Framework Development & Scaling

• Design, build, and scale robust automation frameworks from scratch for web and mobile applications.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, folder structures, and reusable component libraries within the automation codebase.
• Continuously improve framework architecture to support scalability, maintainability, and cross-team adoption.

2. Test Automation Management

• Manage and maintain the full automation test suite — including creating new scripts, updating existing ones, and retiring obsolete tests.
• Develop structured automation coverage (functional, regression, smoke, sanity) aligned with release cycles.
• Analyze test results and drive test coverage improvements proactively.
• Flaky Test Stabilization

• Identify, investigate, and resolve flaky tests to ensure consistent, reliable pipeline results.
• Implement retry strategies, proper wait conditions, and environment isolation techniques to reduce false failures.
• Monitor test stability metrics and report trends to the team.

3. Git & Code Quality Management

• Manage Git branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow, trunk-based development) within the QA automation repository.
• Conduct code reviews for automation scripts — ensuring readability, reusability, and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• Must-Have:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, TestCafe, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in Git branching management and code review practices in a team environment.
  • Strong track record of diagnosing and stabilizing flaky tests in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience managing test cases and automation scripts across multiple product releases.
  • Demonstrated ability to set goals and track progress — both individually and at team level.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, and CI/CD integration.
  • Proficiency with API automation (Postman, Karate, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation.
  • English proficiency (Intermediate or above) — able to communicate in an international team.
  • Product Mindset: Ability to understand business logic and user workflows to design high-impact, end-to-end test strategies.
  • Proactive Communication & Reporting: Confident in driving technical discussions with stakeholders, resolving blockers independently, and clearly reporting test metrics and quality risks.
• Nice to Have (Highly Preferred):
  • Experience using AI agents or AI-assisted tools in a QA or automation context.
  • ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Automation Engineer) certificate.
  • Experience with performance or load testing.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or ERP system testing.
