Job Summary: As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between high-level business goals and hands-on execution. You will build scalable systems, define architectural blueprints, and actively mentor engineering teams across both front-end and back-end ecosystems.

Reporting To: Engineering Manager
Key responsibilities:
● Design and build scalable, resilient microservices
● Own end-to-end delivery of complex fullstack projects, from technical design to deployment and monitoring
● Write high-quality, maintainable code, and ensure rigorous testing and fault tolerance
● Drive architectural decisions and influence long-term engineering strategy for the team
● Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into tech solutions
● Take ownership of operational excellence, including performance tuning, incident response, and root cause analysis
● Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical deep dives and code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing
Skills and attributes for success:
● 4 -7 years of hands-on fullstack software development experience.
● Front-End Technologies: Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React.js, or Next.js.
● Back-End Technologies: Strong proficiency in server-side technology - Python, experience with Golang is an added advantage.
● Hands-on experience with relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
● Tools & Practices: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, AI-assisted coding tools, and API design (REST)
● Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
● Strong capability in prioritizing tasks and navigating ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Preferred education and experience: Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field with 4 - 7 years of experience in fullstack software development.
