Backend engineer on JustWatch's Content team, extending data pipelines and APIs using Go, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and gRPC to power B2B data exports and widgets.

The Content team is a group of dedicated and passionate people working together to build the world’s biggest collection of streaming information to keep millions of users and data partners happy. Who we are looking for We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to join our Content team. The Content team is working on acquiring data (Streaming availability, metadata, etc.) and serving that to internal and external consumers.   • Extend and optimise our content stack, which includes our scraper, content api, database and Elasticsearch.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility over building and scaling the APIs, data exports and embeddable widgets used by our B2B partners.
  • Work closely with other internal teams on bigger projects across teams.
    • What we need from you
  • At least 3 years of deep familiarity with the Go language
  • 3+ years of work experience in a backend engineering role
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, experience with gRPC
  • Fluent in English
