Job Description:

At Cloudera, we empower people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. With as much data under management as the hyperscalers, we're the preferred data partner for the top companies in almost every industry.  Powered by the relentless innovation of the open source community, Cloudera advances digital transformation for the world’s largest enterprises.

About the Role

We are building Cloudera Cloud Core — the base layer for the Cloudera ecosystem on-prem. Kubernetes runs on bare-metal servers (certified enterprise-grade hardware from Dell, Pure Storage), with containerized OpenStack running on top of that Kubernetes (deployed with openstack-helm). AI and big data workloads run on top of the platform. The product is based on the OpenStack Taikun product pillar and the majority of the team is based in the Czech republic, including full-remote co-workers. We are using mainly Claude and also other AI models are available through our LLM gateway.

Tech Stack:

- Kubernetes (bare-metal), containerized OpenStack (openstack-helm)

- Python, Bash

- GitHub, FluxCD, Harness, OpenTofu/Terraform

- Prometheus, Loki, Grafana

- Rook-Ceph

- Cilium, Istio-ambient, Traefik
