Software Engineer (L1)
TLDR
Build services from a blank Rust repository, shape architecture and standards, and ship APIs, data models, and integrations into production.

Location: Warsaw (remote for first months, then hybrid)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build the services behind the product: APIs, data models, integrations
- Own what you ship, from first commit to running it in production
- Work with Product and Design to turn requirements into something that holds up under load
- Write code others can maintain, with tests and instrumentation as part of the work
- Take part in code reviews and help set the architecture and standards while they're still being decided
What We Are Looking For
Required
- 2 years (or more) of professional experience.
- Strong Rust, Go, Java or Kotlin; production Rust a plus
- You design REST APIs others build on. Clear contracts, sensible versioning
- AWS or equivalent, containers, CI/CD
- Fluent with AI coding tools like Claude Code, with the judgment to know when the output can't be trusted
- Blockchain fundamentals: ERC20, RPC nodes, UTXO vs account models
- Clear written and verbal English, and a self-driven work style
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
- Payment rails (SEPA, SWIFT, ACH) or card issuing
- Regulated fintech: PSD2, KYC/AML, PCI DSS
- Crypto custody, on-chain settlement, stablecoin flows
- Monitoring and analytics tools (Sentry, New Relic)
