As a Product manager for the UNICORN software you will be part of a highly competent and engaged team of product managers located globally.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • With focus on automation solutions, represent “voice of the customer” for your products inside Cytiva, making sure quality and customer needs are reflected in the product lifecycle strategy.
  • Develop and drive the product life cycle strategy for your portfolio, including pricing, margin optimization and recommendations of development to keep the portfolio vital, profitable and competitive.
  • Through close collaboration with customers and commercial teams ensure UNICORN stays competitive.
  • Work collaboratively with software/automation/digital teams across all Cytiva OpCo’s and ensure we stay in the forefront of instrument control and automation software.
  • Support the commercial organization with product training, marketing material and sales tools.
  • Business owner for new product introductions and product retirement within your product segment.


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Work experience in software product management, software product marketing, software sales or relevant experience in the automation field.
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Strong business and technical acumen with a customer focused mindset
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and a proven ability to work globally
  • Valid Swedish working permit


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in a Life Sciences based business
  • Knowledge of protein research and the customer needs in this market
