The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire a Spare Parts Inventory Clerk.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule material replenishment based on inventory levels, equipment requirements, and demand forecasts.

  • Generate material purchase requisitions to maintain appropriate inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.

  • Routinely inspect inventory levels to identify critical shortages, excess inventory, obsolete materials, and opportunities for inventory optimization.

  • Support preventive maintenance programs by ensuring required spare parts are available prior to scheduled maintenance activities.

  • Conduct routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations to maintain high inventory accuracy.

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory control processes.

  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Procurement, and Engineering regarding new equipment spare parts, recommended stocking levels, and inventory standardization.

  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all inventory adjustments, receipts, issues, and transfers.

  • Monitor shelf life, expiration dates, and condition of inventory to ensure material quality and usability.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory management, warehouse efficiency, and equipment reliability.

  • Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with company policies.

Who You Are

  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.

  • Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of inventory control principles, material handling, and warehouse operations.
