Speech Language Pathologist - Tacoma, WA - $6k Sign-on Bonus
TLDR
Deliver evidence-based speech-language services to K–12 students, collaborate with education teams, and advocate for planning time and clinical autonomy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from a CAPCSD-accredited program

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA

Valid, unrestricted state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Proof of immunization status and background check clearance per school district requirements

Experience in school-based SLP (2+ years preferred, new grads welcome)

Knowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks

Experience with AAC and assistive technology

Bilingual fluency (Spanish or other languages highly valued)

Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex communication needs

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation is paid over 10 months, aligned to the school-year calendar. All figures below reflect the Greater Tacoma, WA market.
Base Compensation
W-2 Base Salary
$95,000 – $109,800,based on experience

1099 Contractor Rate
$71-$87/hr/hr
