Sr. DevOps Engineer - Security

As the Sr. DevOps Engineer- Security at Density, you’ll help us meet compliance targets and define long term security postures for our systems.  You’ll help secure and audit AWS Infrastructure, VPNs, SSL, and encryption in transit and at rest.

In this role you will:

• Perform gap analysis for SOC-2 and FedRAMP.
• Implement system hardening standards including end to end TLS, encryption, and SSL hardening.
• Maintaining CIS Benchmarks for Linux systems.
• Helping define a long term system and os security roadmap.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years in a DevOps or DevSecOps role.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and tradeoffs.
• Prior experience implementing infrastructure compliance (and can provide examples).
• Strong understanding of frameworks like NIST, CIS, others.
• Strong grasp of infrastructure as code practices - e.g., Terraform, Packer, Asible, others.
• Deep understanding of Linux security fundamentals.

The icing on the cake:

• Multi-tenant SaaS experience.
• Enough python security knowledge to operate and interpret code scans.
• Security automation at the OS and platform level.
• Reporting and alerting tools such as SIEM.
• Active security tools such as WAF, IPS, and SIEM.
• Multi-platform Identity and Access Management.
• Incident response process creation and implementation
