Sr. QA Automation Engineer
TLDR
Leads automation efforts using Selenium WebDriver and Java, builds automation framework from scratch, mentors team, and drives testing of large, complex systems in an education technology product.
The Person:
In pursuit of this goal, we are looking for a QA Engineer to join our technical team as we move from being a tech-enabled service to a tech product company. The Job:
● 7+ years of experience extensively into automation with Selenium Webdriver
● Hands on experience with Selenium Webdriver with core java
● Has expertise in building and designing automation framework from scratch
● Develops & Automates test plans and test scripts
● Driving the automation process into the team
● Mentor the current team with automation techniques
● Manage & performs testing activities based upon test plans and scripts
● Managing and maintaining of test plan during and after release testing
● Have hands on experience on software testing of large and complex software systems
● Should Have the ability to perform research on the requirements, customer bugs and
incorporate these learning in testing
What You Will Need:
● Degree in Computer Engineering (or a related discipline) is preferred
● 7 plus years of experience in a systems quality environment
● Equivalent combination of education and work experience
● Requires specific knowledge of QA testing, change management and test case generation
techniques
