Sr Software Quality Engineer

The Role
We are looking for a Sr Software Quality Engineer with a BS or MS in a field related to Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or Computer ScienceThis is your opportunity to play an important role in this cutting-edge transformation and be a thought leader in the Quality space. A good understanding of software development practices, to help create and execute testing for our market-leading products is required.
Your Impact
- Understand product features requirements, and then develop and execute manual test cases to ensure test coverage and product quality
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to increase test efficiency
- Understand customer requirements, be creative in identifying product defects, and collaborate with developers to track defects until resolution
- Collaborate with a Products organization (Development, Quality, Product Management, Documentation) located across the world
What You'll Need
- Strong academic performance in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum, Computer Science, or related majors
- 4-8 years’ experience in using and/or testing scientific and/or engineering software
- Playwright, Specflow, XUnit, C#, Python, Javascript will be a plus.
- Experience in or knowledgeable of software development methodologies is a plus
- Experience in scripting and programming languages is a plus
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (in English)
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Willingness to learn a range of business or technical specialties based on business needs
