Strategic Accounts Manager - Melbourne

Zomato is a global online food platform helping people find new places to eat and it our mission to build amazing experiences around dining. Starting with information for over 1 million restaurants (and counting) globally, we are making dining smoother and more enjoyable. 

Zomato is used by millions everyday to decide where to eat in over 10,000 cities, across 23 countries. The restaurants on Zomato improve their discoverability through Zomato’s hyperlocal advertising platform - currently most of Zomato’s business is driven by the Discovery business. Going forward, Zomato intends to explore newer business opportunities and eventually establish end to end solutions to the user as well as the merchant.

About the role:

We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to play a critical role in building relationships with top restaurant groups. The ideal candidate should ensure business growth for these groups and be able to identify new opportunities to introduce 

Zomato products to these businesses to drive growth. Ultimately, you will be responsible for achieving sales quota and strategic account targets.

What will the Strategic Accounts Manager be responsible for?

• To build and nurture relationships with Zomato’s key customers and manage multiple stakeholders within client organization
• Develop plans for the key customers, manage expectations and contribute towards a high level of client satisfaction by driving growth for them
• Discuss and evolve campaigns in line with the customers marketing and sales objectives
• Influence client’s to ensure that Zomato gets the majority share of spends on digital mediaAcquire new customers and prevent customers from churning out

Key KPIs will include -

• Revenue growth from existing and new merchants
• Grow the number of clients
• Grow average revenue per client
• Ratio of new business vs. repeat business
• Increase share of wallet from these accounts
• New market penetration and the market share
• Client success and retention
• Overall turnover rates
