Structural Analysis Engineer (Human)

This job is no longer available and isn't accepting applications.

TLDR

Assess robot structures with FEM, optimize topology and weight, and validate models against test results before prototypes exist.

This is where Artificial Intelligence comes to life

The Simulation team calculates the drives, gearboxes, and structures of our robots before the first prototype exists. Using FEM, CFD, and multibody simulations, it secures performance, service life, and noise behavior.

Your mission & challenges

You assess the strength, stiffness, and service life of our structures using FEM, making our design lightweight and robust at the same time.

  • Static and dynamic FEM analyses (strength, stiffness, modal analysis)

  • Fatigue life and durability assessments

  • Topology and weight optimization together with design

  • Defining load cases from system requirements

  • Validating models against test results

What we're looking for

  • Degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on structural analysis/mechanics

  • Experience in FEM simulation (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus, OptiStruct)

  • Knowledge of durability and material behavior

  • Experience with optimization tools is a plus

  • Analytical thinking and clear presentation of results

Neura Robotics builds advanced human-robot systems that ensure safe and compliant collaboration between people and machines. Targeting industries that require efficient and reliable robotic solutions, we integrate cutting-edge software and hardware capabilities to adapt to ever-changing market demands while maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance.
