About this role:

Astrid & Miyu is coming to Kingston and we’re looking for a Tattoo Artist to join our new Kingston team! Tattoos are one of the amazing experiences we offer in our stores, along with piercing and jewellery welding. A popular and fun event, you’ll be helping our customers make memories that last forever. Reporting into the Store Manager, you will play a vital role within the retail team.

What you’ll be doing:

Customer Service

  • Deliver an outstanding service and create a memorable customer journey
  • Handle all customer queries effectively and efficiently, always providing guidance and reassurance
  • Establish a personal connection with new and existing customers in order to build a loyal customer base

Health & Safety

  • Responsible for handling and managing waste appropriately
  • Completing consent forms with customers, answering any questions, and making appropriate recommendations
  • Actioning Due Diligence checklists
  • Ensure consistency with company procedures and communicating this to customers in a friendly, clear manner

Studio Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, tidy studio at all times, including a deep clean once a week
  • Ensure tattoo design stencils are prepared

Product

  • Keep up to date with products knowledge relating to all Astrid & Miyu products

Requirements

  • At least 2 years studio experience
  • Excellent people skills
  • A resourceful attitude, but able to ask for support when needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A sense of self-motivation and an innate drive to be the best version of yourself
