Now, we're looking for a Tax Specialist. As a Tax Specialist, you are responsible for managing tax compliance, preparing tax filings, conducting audits, and providing tax support to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to tax regulations.

Job Description

• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate, income, sales, and property taxes.
• Conduct regular tax audits and reviews.
• Identify tax planning opportunities to minimize tax liabilities.
• Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to identify potential tax benefits.
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Work with auditors and tax authorities to ensure compliance.
• Analyze financial data to identify tax implications and potential tax savings.
• Use data analytics tools to monitor tax trends and risks.
• Provide tax support to other departments, such as finance, accounting, and legal.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Achieve or exceed targets and other key objectives assigned by your Immediate Supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Accept other associated responsibilities and projects as the need arises.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least years of experience in tax, preferably in the technology or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems.
• Preferably CPALE Passer
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
