About the job

Our Richmond manufacturing facility is growing and is adding a brand-new team leader to our lineup, and we’d like to hear from you! Our team leaders coordinate, plan, and support the daily work of the team and shift.

Team leads generally work Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, plus overtime as scheduled.

As a part of the team, you will:

• Coordinate, plan, and support the daily work of the team/shift.
• Monitor processes and performance in the team/shift with a focus on waste elimination.
• Act as a link between the team, support functions, and team manager.
• Develop the key processes and tools within the cell.
• Close competence gaps by training/coaching and running SOP audit dialogues.
• Control quality, deviations, and line stops together with the team manager.
• When needed support team members with immediate problem solving.
• Execute production work according to ALPS standards and participate in continuous improvements.

What you know

You have a high school diploma or GED, and:

  • High school or GED minimum.
  • GPHE assembly experience.
  • Basic Personal Computer skills with demonstrated ability in JEEVES, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS), including 5S, Cell Status Boards, PRP and KPI Boards
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
