Technical Product Manager - B2B SaaS/AI

About the Role

We are seeking a highly technical and execution-focused Product Manager who embodies the qualities of a product builder rather than a traditional roadmap manager. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing and shipping innovative features in our B2B SaaS and AI domains, directly impacting customer experiences and outcomes.

As a Product Manager, you will leverage your hands-on experience to prototype ideas, write clear specifications for engineers, and ensure a seamless product delivery process. You will engage with customers to gather insights, validate feature effectiveness, and actively participate in troubleshooting and refining product releases.

Responsibilities

  • Ship multiple B2B SaaS or AI features from idea to production within the last 12 months.
  • Prototype ideas using tools such as Figma, Lovable, v0, Claude, Cursor, Replit, or code.
  • Write clear specifications that engineers can implement without repeated clarification meetings.
  • Understand and manage APIs, integrations, data models, authentication, and failure states.
  • Personally test releases to ensure they meet quality standards before considering them complete.
  • Engage in customer calls to gather feedback and reproduce bugs effectively.
  • Drive issues through engineering until customer outcomes are verified.
  • Make decisive priority calls and proactively eliminate low-value work.
  • Disagree with leadership when necessary, providing written reasoning for your positions.
  • Manage your backlog without needing a founder to continually reorganize it.
  • Requirements

  • Experience as a first Product Manager, early product hire, or startup Product Manager.
  • Proven track record in AI product management or technical product management.
  • Background as a former founder or engineer who transitioned into product management.
  • Strong understanding of product delivery and customer outcomes over mere backlog throughput.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing tools.
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation for engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, but not solely reliant on coordinating engineering or running ceremonies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to product challenges.
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing and delivering AI-driven products.
  • Familiarity with data models and API integrations in a B2B context.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • Knowledge of customer validation techniques and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively articulate product vision and requirements.
  • Benefits

  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Gain hands-on experience in shaping product features that directly impact customers.
  • Collaborate with a talented and driven team of professionals.
  • Remote work flexibility, allowing you to work from anywhere.
  • Professional development opportunities to enhance your skill set.
  • Supportive company culture that values open communication and collaboration.
  • We are an equal opportunity employer and strive to create an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Join us in building innovative products that make a difference!
