The Role & Projects
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Project Manager to lead software releases and platform integrations from concept to launch. Unlike traditional single, multi-year enterprise projects, you will manage a parallel portfolio of multiple smaller projects with swift 3-to-4-month turnarounds. Your project pipeline will include:
- New Product Launches: Drive new software builds through execution and live release.
- API Integrations: Manage partner connections using REST and webhook APIs.
- Feature Enhancements & Maintenance: Coordinate quick client updates and troubleshoot bugs.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct daily tasks for a cross-functional team of 6 to 10 developers, QA, and designers.
- Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for key regional clients in Asia, translating business needs into clear engineering requirements.
- Technical & Agile Oversight: Read architecture diagrams, follow Java/React/API workflows, and manage sprints in JIRA.
- Travel: Site office visits to our regional hub in Singapore (SG) for stakeholder collaboration and client offices
Profile Requirements
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a technical project manager delivering software projects end-to-end.
- Target Background: Must come from a software house, vendor, BPO, or outsourcing background.
- Regional Expertise: Strong experience servicing clients or stakeholders in China, with deep comfort in the region's business communication norms.
- Multi-Project Fluency: Proven ability to manage multiple small-to-medium-scale projects simultaneously.
- Technical Foundation: Ability to understand API structures and collaborate effectively with senior engineers.
- Distributed Teams & Travel: Experience coordinating remote teams across time zones and willingness to travel to Singapore.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on background in software development earlier in your career.
- Industry certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM, or PMI-ACP.
