Introduction

The Analyst – Travel Management role is responsible for supporting end-to-end Travel & Expense (T&E) operations, ensuring efficient expense processing, compliance with company policies, and high-quality employee support. The role plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting accounting close activities, and driving continuous improvement in T&E processes through operational excellence and system expertise.

Your Job

  • Support daily Concur expense operations, including expense report processing, employee queries, issue resolution, and policy guidance
  • Perform corporate card reconciliation, monitor outstanding transactions, and drive timely follow-ups with employees and managers
  • Prepare, validate, and distribute month-end accruals and reporting outputs to support accounting close processes
  • Research expense exceptions, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage ServiceNow tickets related to Concur, expense reports, corporate cards, and policy/process queries; escalate issues as needed
  • Provide accurate guidance using job aids, FAQs, and knowledge resources, and recommend updates where gaps are identified
  • Support reimbursement issue resolution, including follow-ups on incomplete or invalid banking details
  • Administer clothing allowance activities, including reporting, validation, and bulk/manual updates as per defined procedures
  • Ensure compliance with Travel & Expense policies by identifying and flagging exceptions or non-compliant claims
  • Generate and analyze T&E reports, including spend trends, audit outcomes, and compliance metrics
  • Collaborate with Finance and global teams to resolve travel-related and expense issues efficiently

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs 
  • Ensure adherence to GlobalFoundries financial controls, policies, and audit requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Support process improvements and automation initiatives in T&E operations
  • Partner with stakeholders to enhance employee experience in travel processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Travel & Expense operations, including Concur expense processing
  • Strong knowledge of expense reporting, corporate card management, and compliance controls
  • Experience supporting month-end close activities, accruals, and reporting
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a global organization with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Knowledge of process improvement or automation initiatives in finance operations
  • Familiarity with audit processes and compliance frameworks
  • Advanced reporting and data analysis skills
